Winter is gone and Spring / Summer is here eventually. We are all ready to get rid of big heavy winter layered clothing for the light, airy and bright colors for spring. In this article, I want to highlight for you some of the most interesting trends for Spring.
- First, skinny pants are still the rage for Spring. 7/8 pants in bright colors can be found in retail stores across the country. These pants are at their best when worn with high platform heels. The perfect top is the cropped jacket or the oversized fuller top to give contrast.
- Second, the light sheer fabric of the '60s back. They can be seen in the flowing dresses and tops. These clothes are displayed in bright orange, natural and watercolor. Clothes are feminine and look best when worn with stilettos.
- Third, some of the runways show the new updated version of harem pants. They are a new much more subtle version and are not reminiscent of the I Dream of Genie pants. They work well with a un-constructed blazer and soft feminine tops.
- Fourth, it is time to explore the closet of your mother for some hippie clothing from the late 60s to the early 70s. The Bohemian look is definitely back with bright colors and metallic trims. Lastly, accessories are bigger and brighter than ever.
Metal is the word of today. You can call it a pirate, Gypsy, or the middle east. It is a little bit of everything. The metal look does not end with the shoes, bags, and also shining jewelry.
